DESCRIPTION:  Rare and very desirable from the mid-late fifties venerable but somewhat quirky Arvin Noblitt-Sparks company which is actually still in business making car parts.  Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Arvin in 1957 time frame in excellent+ working and physical condition. Cabinet is original factory molded pumpkin tan orang-ish color with brown grill. No cracks, splits, chips or missing material anywhere. No repaint, no over spray no touch ups. None needed. Matching original knobs are intact, securely attached. Tuning knob is in excellent condition with no pitting, rust or chips. Very functional tone control works. Tone slider indicator works. Volume works with smooth even attenuation across entire range. This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. No broken Arvin logo letters. No cracks, chips or major scratches on the clear clock window. The tuning dial works fine. The tuning slider indicator works. No sticky spots. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The original backing board is in excellent condition with crisp square corners. No missing factory labels. Factory serial number sticker is intact. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.

COLOR: Called tan but looks like pumpkin or spice colored
