Super Seafoam Green 1950s Firestone Model 4-A-188 Vintage AM Vacuum Tube Radio Mint Condition!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in the 1950s in excellent working and mint physical condition. Very rare model in a very rare color. Twin speakers make this radio a joy to listen to! Original factory molded seafoam green color. Not repainted no touch up no overspray. No cracks, chips, or major scratches anywhere. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 60 years old! The front tuning gold facade is in excellent condition with no oxidation, greening, or rust. The original knobs are in excellent condition and are securely attached. The Firestone logo is intact and excellent original condition. Cute little red tuning pointer has a little ball on the end! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial lettering on this vintage radio. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping no sticky spots. Tuning and volume center gold metal inserts not missing. There is no loud or pervasive hum. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Backing board is excellent original condition all printing is legible. Bottom factory labels are 100% intact slightly yellowed with age. This vintage radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
