DESCRIPTION: This was Olympics's top of the line clock radio in the early 60s. Not many have survived because not many were made. This model series in this color combo is of of the last hurrahs of the contrasting color vacuum tube radios and clock radios. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Olympic in 1962 in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with antenna attachment included. Cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or major scratches. The speaker grill is in excellent condition. All original factory molded colors. No repaint. No over spray. No touch up. None needed. This radio is over 55 years old!  No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All the push buttons work as designed and do not pop off. Clock face has some dabs of gold paint touch up that was applied by a previous owner. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Clock and alarm time set function works. Sleep function works. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
