Wine Red Vintage 1958 Zenith A724R AM/FM Tube Radio A True Sound Blaster!

DESCRIPTION: Clear sounding and loud as heck. Tabletop tube AM/FM antique radio manufactured by Zenith in 1958 time frame in excellent working and physical condition.  No cracks, chips, or major scratches. There is a vertical cigarette burn on the left side by the top front corner. Switch from AM to FM with a turn of the switch. Original factory molded wine red color plastic: no repaint, no over spray, no touch up. Original tweed fabric grill no tears, no rips, no fraying, no discoloration, no smells. This vintage radio is almost 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. AM FM selector works. Volume works with even smooth attenuation across the range. Original knobs are securely attached no broken or repaired posts. AM FM selector knob has a cracked flange that has been repaired. Front clear tuning window is crystal clear no cracks no yellowing. Gold tuning scale is shiny, no stains, no wavy-ness, no flaking  no rub off of numbers or letters. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. Backing board is original intact with no cracks no warping crisp edges and corners. Bottom factory label is about 50% there. No exposed wiring. Dipole antenna is included for even better reception. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
