DESCRIPTION: This tabletop vacuum tube AM radio was manufactured by RCA Victor in 1962 in excellent physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded red plastic back and white front. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, no touch up, not over sprayed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Classic mid-century modern sleek upright panel design in a highly desirable and rare color combo. Usually found in ebony/white, turquoise/white, pink/white, white/white, and beige. Clear clock bezel has a crack on the top edge, not visible from the front only from the top.

KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached slightly yellowed with age. No missing silver metal knob inserts. Usually one or both of these are missing. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. Original factory matching little clock function knobs.

LOGO: No missing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning or clock dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is somewhat silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Has General Time Clock movement. Alarm and clock set function side arm works and goes off at the correct set times. Buzzer alarm works. Wake to radio and radio with buzzer. Sleep timer side arm works. Front snooze "drowse" paddle works. Front clock face panel is clean black no smudges no fading no oxidation trails. Front clock clear cover has no  no chips, not warped, not yellowed, with a single micro inclusions that you can see by the On/Off switch.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original white power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching bright red plastic back cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, co chips, no major scratches. No melted heat vents.

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used, lovingly displayed, or stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or thick carpet.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom factory labels. Labels are slightly damaged, but readable.
