Raspberry Red Mini Tower 1952 Emerson Model 706 Vacuum Tube AM Radio Works Great! Nice Colors!
DESCRIPTION: Unique shape and design from Emerson. Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Emerson in 1952 in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations around the dial clearly and loudly without external antenna. Bakelite cabinet is in excellent condition. No cracks. No chips. No major scratches. All original factory molded colors. The front gold mesh grill cloth is in excellent condition no cracks, chips, or discoloration. The original knobs are in excellent condition and securely attached. The tuning dial works fine and rotates freely no slipping no sticky spots. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents. Dial light works and lights brightly. All the wiring has been inspected for bridging and dry solder joints. All tubes checked and tested strong. All out of specification components have been replaced. This radio has another 50 years of playing time! The replacement power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits no fraying. Bottom factory label is intact and legible. Original backing board is in excellent condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
