DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1955 in excellent condition. No cracks or chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. All original factory molded pink color. No repaints. No oversprays or touch-ups. None needed! The model usually has a crack on the top by the front center edge but this one doesn't have that crack. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The tuning dial gold metal is missing. The tuning dial mount post is not cracked or weak securely attached. No slipping. The clock works and keeps accurate time. The alarm function works. The clock and alarm set functions work. No dial light. Not designed with one. The radio tuning silver face is a little flaked in places.The power cable is securely attached. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
