DESCRIPTION: This vintage radio manufactured by Olympic in 1955 in excellent physical and working condition. Rare and beautiful. Stunning original factory molded vivid green color. This particular green is very rare from any manufacturer.

SOUND QUALITY:  Picks up AM stations around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded green urea plastic. A high quality dense plastic that predates modern poly carbonate based plastics. relatovely impervious to temperature. But harder and heavier. All original factory molded coilors through and through. No chips or major scratches anywhere on front or back pieces. Thereis a hairline crack in top along the center left top crease. Original front semi circular aluminum fascia panel is notrusted,  oxidized not peeling or wavy. 

KNOBS: Factory original matching green plastic knobs are matching with no missing gold metal center caps. The caps are slight oxidized but not rusted. Gold painted plastic tuning dial pointer is a replacement.

LOGO: No lissing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static free performance in the future. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: Factory original backing board is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or heavily fatigued corners. Facotry printing is clear and readable.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Bottom factory labels are mostly missing.
