Pearl Ivory 1955 Zenith "Broadway" Model R511F AM Tube Radio Sounds Great, Looks Like a Star!
Description: Vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith is in 1955 in excellent condition. No chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. There is a faint hairline crack beginning on the back top edge. All knobs are original and securely attached. Original factory molded ivory. Not repainted or no touch up. Original factory glossiness and sheen. Very glossy. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light tuning indicator lights brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The built in handle is functional and intact. The tuning dial works fine as designed. This antique radio has light tarnish and discoloration of the gold grill. No rust pimples no oxidation spots. Original backing board is intact with crisp square edges. Bottom factory label is intact, legible. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
