Fairlane Pink and Black Mid Century Vintage 1956 Zenith Z519V AM Vacuum Tube Clock Radio Works Great and Near Mint!
DESCRIPTION: Rather rare and unusual color for Zenith paired with a cabinet design that would make your geometry teacher proud! It's as if the design department broke all their drawing tools one day except for a slide rule. Original factory molded color. Not repainted. No touch up no over spray. Factory plastic glossiness is mirror shiny and awesome to behold! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1956 in excellent working condition. This radio sounds like a champ! No cracks, chips or scratches anywhere on cabinet. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. Filter capacitor has been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The sleep function works. No dial light not designed with one but can be added. The clock motor is quiet on this one. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Appliance timer function in back works. The tubes are working fine. All Zenith marked tubes! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. The backing board is tell tale sign this radio was taken care of and stored in a cool dry place for half a century! Look at it! No exposed wiring. The manufacturer label on the bottom is original and in excellent condition no stains. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
