Barbie Pink and Wood Grain Retro General Electric AM Solid State Radio Rare!
DESCRIPTION: This radio tries every trick in the book to appeal itself. This was probably a dime store radio back in its day. Pink, solid state, and fake wood grain! Yow. Original factory molded hot pink cabinet has faded evenly to a strawberry pink. Less faded bottom looks almost fuchsia pink. This is a solid state radio which means no tubes. It is a earlier transistor based technology much like what we have today. Turns right on. No warming up. Does not generate heat like vacuum tubes. Pretty good sound for a 2.5" speaker. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. No repaint or repairs. None needed. All original everything. This vintage radio has lost its front bottom logo. All knobs are original and securely attached. The tuning dial works fine. No dial light. Not designed with one. The power cable is securely attached. The original power cord is in good working condition. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
