BLUETOOTH: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth while retaining its original AM receiver electronics and functionality. Plays wirelessly from any playing device over 30 ft. New integrated Bluetooth circuitry available exclusively from Retro Radio Farm is completely internal inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or receiver device! Switch from Bluetooth to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! Absolutely no noise from Bluetooth circuitry!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Sonora in 1946 in excellent working and physical condition.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original molded Bakelite in factory painted ivory. Not repainted. Not touched up not over sprayed. No cracks, no chips, no missing pieces. Ivory paint has dings throughout due to normal wear and tear. Original tuning glass is high quality no cracks, no chips, clear readable number and graphics. No flaking.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. 

LOGO: No missing logos

KNOBS: The original factory matching tuning, volume, and tone ivory plastic knobs are in excellent condition no cracks no chips securely attached. Tuning pointer rotates with ease up and down the dial.

LETTERING: No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial numbering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping or sticky spots.

DIAL LIGHT: Dial lights works and lights brightly

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All out of tolerance paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

BACKING BOARD: Original cardboard backing board is intact and covered by plexi glass backing board to house Bluetooth controls.

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

FACTORY LABEL: No missing factory labels.
