DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM antique radio manufactured by RCA Victor in excellent+ working and very good physical condition. This vintage radio has a late 50s design look with its vaned prismic grill and clear trapezoidal bubble clock window. Original factory molded colors not painted. No touch up no over spray. None needed. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in very good condition. There is a repaired crack on the back near the power cord. All clock components work including the alarm. This retro radio is over 60 years old! Grill is in excellent condition with no dents, dings, rust, or warping. RCA Victor logo with the little Nipper dog is intact and beautiful slightly tarnished metal. Raised RCA Victor logo on front speaker grill is in excellent condition. The knobs are in excellent condition. No cracks and two non missing gold metal inserts. These often pop off over the years. The tuning knob and volume knobs are not cracked either. Dial light lights brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial lettering. The clear bezel on this radio is securely attached no cracks or scratches. Mirror glossy and glassy sheen. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Original factory tube layout diagram label and other factory stickers on bottom are in good original condition. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
