SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.Â
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded in powder pink plastic. Â No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Not repainted. No over spray. Not touched up. Cabinet is original molded pink plastic.Â
KNOBS: Original matching pink clock knobs are original, matching, in excellent condition and securely attached. Factory original tuning and volume in excellent condition.
LOGO:Â No missing logo.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge.
CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is somewhat silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Factory original clock movement has faint whirring clock motor noise. Clock motor has been cleaned and lubricated. Alarm and clock set function works and goes off at the correct set times. Radio alarm and alarm buzzer works. The clock and tuning numbers not completely faded. Clock back panel is brushed aluminum. Clear clock cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, hazing or stains. Clock and radio function lettering are clear and readable. No rust, flaking, or water stains.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Â
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no breaks, not dried, not brittle. No exposed wiring.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.Â
BACKING BOARD: Back cover is matching red molded plastic in excellent condition no cracks, chips, or melted vanes. Factory printing is readable.
