DESCRIPTION: Tabletop AM vacuum tube radio manufactured by Motorola in the mid-fifties time frame in excellent working and physical condition. 

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is in excellent condition. Original molded red urea plastic which is a hard quality plastic that predates modern polycarbonate plastics today. All original factory molded colors. No repaint, no over spray no touch up. None needed. No heat crack on top which is common on this model. A heat shield has been added inside to prevent heat cracks in the future. Hairline crack on top front edge. There is a hairline crack on the clear front clock cover by the function switch. Clock gold metal back is not greening or rusted. No waviness no dent or dings. 

KNOBS: Original factory matching volume and tuning knobs are in excellent condition with no cracks. Factory original matching two little black clock function knobs are in excellent condition. 

LOGOS: The Motorola logo front metal plate is in excellent condition. Not missing which is common.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent, no humming, no grinding, no ticking noises. Clock and alarm time set function works. Wake to radio alarm or alarm buzzer. Sleep timer works. Appliance timer in back works.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static free operation in the future. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Factory original backing board is in excellent condition with clear readable print.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.
