DESCRIPTION: This tabletop vacuum tube AM radio was manufactured by Zenith in 1960 in excellent working an physical condition. Very rare color combo.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded turquoise color plastic through and through. Not repainted no touch up not over sprayed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Front metal grill screen is in excellent condition with no dents, dings, or rust. Four peg legs are original intact, level, and matching.
KNOBS: Original white knobs are matching and securely attached. No missing gold metal knob inserts. The volume on/off and tuning works fine.
LOGO: No missing logos.
DIAL LIGHT: None.
CLOCK: None.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching light blended green plastic back is in excellent condition with no cracks, co chips, no major scratches.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom factory labels.
