DESCRIPTION: Nice little compact vintage Silvertone vacuum tube radio. Looks like the front grill of a Lexus. Sold by Sears under Silvertone Meteor brand name. This is a Bluetooth player only. Does not receive any AM stations. Plays Bluetooth like it's outta this world! This is a four vacuum tube circuit so reception and receiving quality will be inferior to standard 5 vacuum tube circuits. Very early sci fi inspired looks and Meteor logo sold by Sears! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Silvertone a Sears brand in excellent physical condition. Cabinet is original molded in gray color. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Knobs are original factory color red and securely attached. This radio is over 50 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one but one can be added for an extra charge. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The original power cable and plug is in excellent working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
