DESCRIPTION: This tabletop vacuum tube AM radio was manufactured by RCA Victor in 1962 in excellent physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded blended turquoise plastic back and ivory front. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Classic mid-century modern sleek upright panel design in a cool color combo. 

KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached slightly yellowed with age. No missing gold metal knob inserts. Usually one or both of these are missing. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. 

LOGO: No missing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning or clock dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: None.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both intermediate frequency transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to insure against undesirable static noise in the future. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching blended turquoise plastic back cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, co chips, no major scratches. No melted heat vents.

PROVENANCE: Was gently used, lovingly displayed, or stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or thick carpet.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom factory labels. Labels are slightly damaged, but legible.
