Mocha Amber Rose 1953 Jewel Model 5125-U Vacuum Tube AM Clock Radio Uniqueness at Every Angle!

DESCRIPTION: This designer of this radio went to town with unique angles and contours. The mocha brown amber swirl formed a unique rose flower looking swirl on the top center. Probably happened by pure chance during the molding process and probably could not be repeated again. Looks like a rose. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Jewel in 1953 in excellent working and physical condition.  Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Works and sounds like a champ! All original factory molded color. No repaint. No over-spray. No touch up. None needed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is over 60 years old!  All the original high quality gold metal clock knobs are in excellent condition intact and securely attached. The clock glass dial face is clear no cracks.  The clock bezel is brass looking metal. The clock works perfectly and keeps accurate time. The clock motor is silent. No humming, buzzing, or grinding noises.  No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The large side tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping post. The tuning knob is intact not stripped. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. No dial light. Not designed with one. No factory labels. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
