Wedgewood Blue 1963 Emerson Model G-1710 AM FM Vacuum Tube Alarm Clock Radio Sounds Great! Nice Color!

DESCRIPTION: This tabletop vacuum tube AM FM radio was manufactured by Emerson in 1963 in excellent working and physical condition. 

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly around the dial with and without need of external antenna attachment. External two wire FM antenna is included for enhanced reception.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded blended blue plastic back and front. No cracks or major scratches. There is a small chip on the bottom back right side. One of the stabilizing feet on the bottom has a chip off the back part but the radio still rests level. Front control panel is in excellent condition with no scratches, fading, or stains. All lettering is crisp and clear. Front clear clock cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no broken attach tabs, securely mounted. 

KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached. No missing gold metal knob inserts. Usually one or both of these are missing. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots.

LOGO: No missing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning or clock dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm and clock set function side arm works and goes off at the correct set times. Wake to buzzer and or radio. Sleep timer works. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: New replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching blue plastic back cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, co chips, no major scratches. No melted heat vents

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: bottom factory label are missing
