DESCRIPTION: This trapezoidal looker has a early to mid sixties appeal to it. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Motorola in early 1960s excellent working condition. Cabinet is original factory molded white color. The front factory painted black grill face is in very good condition with a few specks. This radio sounds great because it has a 6" speaker! No repaints, touch-ups, over sprays. All original factory colors. No cracks, splits, chips, or repairs! A few small scratches and scuff marks. This radio is over 50 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The gold tuning ring is tarnished and oxidized. Original knobs are securely attached. Original knobs are in very good condition with no missing metal caps. The silver paint is ribbed off in areas. The Motorola logo is in excellent condition.The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
