1959 Silvertone 9009 AM Antique Radio in Coral Pink

COLOR: Pink.

YOUTUBE VIDEO here. I live in rural Connecticut and there's only one radio station that comes in loud and clear depending on the day.

DESCRIPTION: This antique radio was manufactured by Silvertone in late 1950's and is in very good working condition. This radio is the epitome of retro Jetsons age styling! Rare and beautiful! This model features a wild cephalic protuberance that juts right out the middle for the controls which also serves as a handle from the back! The controls panel is backed with a unique padded silver plastic covering. Absolutely stunning to behold. Cabinet is original pink color. This pink color is darker than most and almost orange, close to salmon or coral in color. The front beige cloth grill is a striking contrast texturally with the coral color plastic. Please review the close-up photos of this radio. No cracks on the top! There are hairline inclusion cracks along the front of the white plastic surrounding the tuning dial. No other cracks, splits, chips or missing material. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio features dual speakers so it has a much better tone than normal single speaker radios. The handle is built into the back of dial display. Very functional. This vintage radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. This retro radio is over 55 years old! Dial light works great! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.  Please review our Process page for more information.
