This radio has a large 8" speaker. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by RCA Victor in 1950 in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This brown Bakelite cabinet is beautiful mirror glossy no scuffs no swirly micro scratches. The gold metal design trim is in shiny condition, securely attached, some gold paint is discolored in spots. Original factory grill cloth is clean, not ripped no runs no separation. Original factory molded color no repaints no over spray and no touch ups. None needed. Knobs are original and securely attached. This antique plays great without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 65 years old! All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. The tuning dial is clear no yellowing no missing center metal cap. Both dial lights work and light up brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. So neat! All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Bottom factory label is in intact condition. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The replacement power cord and plug is in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
