Veronica Pink and Black Mid Century Vintage 1956 Zenith 519V AM Vacuum Tube Clock Radio Works Great and Excellent Condition!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Zenith in 1956 in excellent working and physical condition.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Super loud and clear player!
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded pink plastic through and through. Not repainted. No over spray. Not touched up. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. No small hairline crack on top back edge which is common. Beautiful low sleek profile. Cabinet is glossy. Black dark grey grill louver is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or broken vanes. Clock and tuning clear covers are in excellent condition no cracks no chips no major scratches and securely attached. Tuning and clock dial faces are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, scratches or inclusions.
KNOBS: Original matching golden knobs securely attached in excellent condition. Tuning knob is missing center gold metal insert. Two of the little round clock buttons are original. Sleep timer little clock function knob is a replacement.
LOGO: Zenith factory paint filled molded-in logo is in excellent condition. Zenith center crest logo is missing pone of its little crown peaks.
DIAL LIGHT: No tuning dial light. Not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge.
CLOCK: The clock works quietly and keeps accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm and clock set function works and goes off at the correct set times. Buzzer alarm works. Wake to radio or radio with buzzer. Sleep timer works.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: The backing board is factory original. No missing factory original four matching screws.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom labels. All labels intact. Yellowing and water staining.
