Gray Owl Eyes 1953 Zenith Model L515G AM Vacuum Tube Radio Excellent Condition Great Sounding!
DESCRIPTION: The much sought after Owl Eyes among Zenith designs! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1953 in excellent working and physical condition. This is a beautiful factory painted original Bakelite radio with no cracks, no chips, no major scratches! Has random paint dings throughout. Original factory gray color not repainted no touch up and no over spray. Knobs are original and securely attached real clean. This radio is over 60 years old! The front gold metal fascia tuning and clock surround trim is in excellent condition with no peeling, dents or dings. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. Original power cable and plug is in excellent working condition no breaks no exposed wires no brittleness. Clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm buzzer and radio alarm works goes off at correct set time. Sleep timer works. No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. All three little black clock knobs are original and securely attached. The tubes are working fine. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. The original backing board is still present which is incredible because it's only held on by 4 t-pins. No missing bottom factory labels. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
