NEVER BEFORE SEEN GREEN 1959 CBS Model T200 AM Tube Radio So Cute! Rare As Heck!

DESCRIPTION: This radio needs a spatula to scrape my tongue of the floor! I have never seen this model series manufactured by Travler and sold by CBS in this color green. These models are usually molded in black or white. Sometimes the grills are factory painted blue, pink or yellow. Tabletop tube AM radio sold by CBS in 1959 in excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is original shiny GREEN plastic. Absolutely stunning color! Original factory molded color through and through. No repaints. No touch ups. No over spray. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. There are several blemishes throughout the cabinet. There are three melted claw shaped prints in the right side. Looks like it was rubbed up against a toaster. There are two dark spots on top one about 1/2" diameter and another about 1/8 diameter. There is a cigarette burn on the left side. The edges are dinged up but not chipped. Iconic tri-star tuning knob is original and securely attached in excellent condition. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The CBS grill logo is in excellent condition. The kitschy-est of kitsch! The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. When this radio was new, tailfins were all the rage!
