Hot Pink Vintage 1955 Zenith Model R519V AM Vacuum Tube Clock Radio Works and Looks Great!
DESCRIPTION: Rare and unusual color for Zenith paired with a cabinet design that would make your geometry teacher proud! It's as if the design department broke all their tools one day except for a slide rule and a compass. Original factory molded color hot pink . Not repainted. No touch up no overspray. This color pink is as hot a pink as could be had back in the day before modern PVC dyes which result in brighter results. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1955 in excellent working condition. This radio sounds like a champ! No major scratches anywhere on cabinet. Lower right corner has a small chip. There is a repaired hairline crack on the bottom by one of the support feet. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming, no buzzing, no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The sleep function works. No clock or tuning dial light. Did not come with one. But can be added for an extra charge. There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. The backing board has repaired and reinforced corners to prevent detachment. No exposed wiring. The manufacturer label on the bottom is original and in very good condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
