DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Arvin in the 1946 time fame in excellent working and physical condition. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original glossy molded brown Bakelite. Not repainted. Not touched up not over sprayed. There is chip along the front bottom left edge and a hairline crack along the left front edge. The factory original handle is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips. Original tuning gold metal foil backing is in excellent condition with no bends, warping, rust, oxidation, peeling or fading. Tuning pointer is in excellent condition with no cracks, no warping, securely attached. Original clear tuning window is in excellent condition with no cracks, no warping and securely attached. Factory grill fabric front and back is in excellent condition with no rips or separated edges.

WORKING CONDITION: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Tone adjustment works.

LOGO: No missing logos

KNOBS: The original factory matching tuning, volume, and tone Bakelite knobs are in excellent condition no cracks no chips securely attached. Tuning pointer rotates with ease, no slipping, no sticky or stuck spots.

LETTERING: No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial numbering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping or sticky spots.

DIAL LIGHT: Dial lights works and lights brightly

CLOCK: No clock

SOUND QUALITY: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All out of tolerance paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

BACKING BOARD: No backing board. Not designed with one.

POWER CORD: The replacement power cord and plug are in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

FACTORY LABEL: No missing factory labels.
