DESCRIPTION:  Tabletop Tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1952 excellent+ working condition with Bluetooth MP3 ready conversion. AM tabletop tube clock radio manufactured by GE in the 1952 time frame still in excellent+ working and physical condition. This radio is very post war industrial looking even a little Art Deco. This design series from General Electric from the early fifties was very popular. It is difficult to find surviving examples without missing knobs especially the top clock set knob. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. Excellent art deco design! Looks very studious, dignified, in my opinion. The volume knob is original matching ivory bakelite securely attached. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock is quiet. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm works, Alarm set works. Clock set works. Sleep function works. The brass colored metal clock surround is a nice classy touch. The clock face is a pale blue and burgundy colored face. Very pretty. This radio is over 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The tuning and volume dials work fine. The tubes are working fine. The power cord and plug is a replacement in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
