DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Westinghouse in 1952 time frame in excellent working and physical condition.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations very clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded maroon red color plastic. No cracks, chips or major scratches. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, no touch or over spray. Small dings and chips along the edges throughout.
KNOBS: Original matching volume and tuning factory knobs are securely attached. Original clear factory tuning knob is in excellent condition with no broken attach post and no missing gold metal insert. Volume knob is original red molded plastic in excellent condition and no missing gold metal center insert.
LOGO: No missing logos.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light not designed with one.
CLOCK: No clock
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: The replacement power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is replaced with new fabricated acrylic panel to mount Bluetooth controls.
HEAT SHIELD: Has original factory internal heat shield.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Partially missing bottom factory labels.
PROVENANCE: Was gently used, lovingly displayed, or stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or thick carpet.
