DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in the late fifties in excellent working and physical condition. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Original factory molded colors. No repaint. No over spray. No touch up. None needed. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is original spring green plastic like mint or pastel green. Very cool and rare color. Mirror glossy all over including on the bottom. This radio is over 50 years old! The "ON", "OFF", "RADIO" lettering is not worn off! The clock face is clear, no cracks, no haziness! The tuning dial works fine. No rub off numbers. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm works. Buzzer is loud. Sleep timer works. Clock time and alarm set time work. All knobs are original and securely attached. The gold metal caps in the knobs are original and not tarnished. The replacement power cable and safety polarized plug is securely attached and perfect working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
