Oriental Theme Painted Black Bakelite 1946 RCA Victor Model 75X15 Vacuum Tube AM Radio Sounds Great! Looks Spectacular!
DESCRIPTION: This design should appeal to three collector tastes; decorative arts, Asian antiquities, and radio aficionados. The factory original hand painting on this radio model series is unique one of a kind. High relief artwork is thick and has depth creating a carved effect. Factory original artwork, not touched up, not over sprayed, not modified in any way. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by RCA Victor in 1946 in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This black Bakelite cabinet is beautiful mirror glossy no scuffs no swirly micro scratches. Original factory molded color no repaints no over spray and no touch ups. None needed. Knobs are original and securely attached. This vintage radio plays great with or without an external antenna attachment. This radio is over 80 years old! All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. Volume on/off switch works. The tuning dial is clear no yellowing no missing center metal cap. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. Little orange dial pointer is not faded. So neat! Dial light works and lights brightly. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Bottom factory label is intact not missing. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The replacement power cord and plug is in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or split. Thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
