DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Motorola in 1947 in excellent working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory wood cabinet in original red oak wood color. No cracks or major scratches. Bottom right back corner has a little veneer chip. Not repainted, no over spray, no touch up. Original grill fbrix is intact with two minor runs. No major stains or rips. Factory dial glass is original and excellent condition with no flaking or missing numbers. No cracks. Original tuning dial plastic surround trim is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.

KNOBS: Knobs are in excellent condition, original and securely attached. 

LOGO:  Logo intact.

DIAL LIGHT: Dial light works and lights brightly.

CLOCK: no clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact. Bottom attach corners were broken off but has been repaired. and securely attached.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.

PROVENANCE: Was gently used, lovingly displayed, or stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or thick carpet. Was acquired recently from a long time avid collector from Seattle.
