BLUETOOTH: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth while retaining its original AM receiver electronics and functionality. This radio has not been gutted! Plays wirelessly from any playing device over 30 ft. New integrated Bluetooth circuitry available exclusively from Retro Radio Farm is completely internal inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or receiver device! Switch from Bluetooth to AM radio and back with rocker switch installed. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! Absolutely no noise from Bluetooth circuitry!
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The speaker is original 2". Let's face it: it's not going to blow out any windows. Bluetooth loudness may need to be adjusted lower or higher volume depending on your source player device. It may be louder in Bluetooth and distortion will be less if you turn down the volume, but plays nicely and sounds clearly when you find the sweet spot.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded whitee plastic through and through. Not repainted no touch up not over sprayed. No cracks on top. No chips, or major scratches.
KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached. No missing silver metal knob inserts. Usually one or both of these are missing. The tuning dial works fine: no slipping no sticky spots.
LOGO: No missing logos.
DIAL LIGHT: None. No place to add one.
CLOCK: None.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: Backing board is in excellent condition with readable factory printing.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.
