DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1947-1948 time fame in excellent working condition.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original hand formed curved wood shape. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. No peeling or chipped veneers. Not repainted, no touch up, no over spray. There is a small hole in the top center back. No other scratches, abrasions chipped veneers or separated seams. Painted wood grill has no dents or dings. Clear tuning window is not cracked, no chips, no micro-inclusions, no flaking numbers.

WORKING CONDITION: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

LOGO: Replacement front Emerson logo decal will be applied before shipping

KNOBS: The original tuning knob is in excellent condition no cracks no chips securely attached.

LETTERING: No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial numbering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping or sticky spots.

DIAL LIGHT: Dial light lights up.

SOUND QUALITY: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All out of tolerance paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

BACKING BOARD: missing

POWER CORD: The replacement power cord and plug are in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

FACTORY LABEL: No missing factory labels.
