Diamond Blue 1964 Philco Model M-716-124 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Sounds and Looks Lovely!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in excellent+ physical and working condition. Very mid sixties looking. Cabinet is original molded light blue back with white grill color. All original factory molded colors. No repaints. No touch-ups. No overspray. None needed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches anywhere! This radio is over 50 years old! Sounds great! Has 4" round and 2.5" oval speaker. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping no sticky spots. The knobs are original and securely attached some rub off of the chrome paint. The tubes are working fine. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. Sleep timer works. The clock and alarm set function work. All push buttons work. Top buttons do not pop off. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. No fatigue by the interconnect. Bottom factory labels not missing. Intact and read-able. No exposed wiring. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
