DESCRIPTION: Understated and elegant in its simplicity. Very popular design back in the late 50s to mid-60s! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in the 1960s timeframe in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original factory molded ivory white. No cracks, chips or major scratches. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. The original power cord and plug is in excellent working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is in excellent condition. No missing factory labels but slightly faded. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. No missing factory labels. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
