DESCRIPTION: Hard to find rarely seen model in a rarely seen hard to find color. Original factory molded colors. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Clear clock and tuning window cover is not cracked, no hazing, no yellowing. Vintage tabletop vacuum tube AM clock radio manufactured by Wards Airline in the late 1965 time frame in excellent working and physical condition. Original knobs are securely attached. This radio is 55 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. This radio is loud and clear sounding up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The tuning dial works fine no sticky spots. No dial light but one can be added for an extra charge. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Clock works and keeps time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Clock time and alarm time setting function works. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The replacement power cord and polarized plug are original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is in excellent condition with clear printing no water stains or fatigued corners. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
