DESCRIPTION: This GE design featured the latest craze in mid century technology: push buttons. The push buttons of this clock radio work better than others. Nice springy tension with the right amount of "bite" and "pop" with each click. Your partner will love hearing you play with these buttons hour after hour! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in the early 60s in excellent physical and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 50 years old!  No cracks or major scratches. Repaired and over-sprayed chip at the left top corner. Original factory molded colors. Not repainted. No other touch up.  The "ON", "OFF", "AUTO" and "SLEEP/SNOOZE" lettering is not worn off!  Crisp and clear. The clock face is pristine!  The tuning dial works fine. No rub off numbers. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm works. Buzzer is loud. Sleep timer works. Snooze button works. Clock time and alarm set time work. All knobs are original and securely attached. The gold metal caps in the knobs are original intact and shiny. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. No missing factory labels. Back factory label is completely faded. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
