Sandstone 1964 Philco Model L785-124 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Sounds Lovely Drop Dead Mint Condition!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in mint physical and working condition. Stunning original practically unused condition. The easiest way to tell is the gold trim around the front perimeter of the radio and the chrome knobs are nearly 100% intact. Most surviving examples have some or all of this shiny trim rubbed off. Very mid sixties looking. Look at the mid century looking tuning register! Cabinet is original molded beige and white color. All original factory molded plastic. No repaints. No touch-ups. No overspray. No cracks, chips, or major scratches anywhere! This radio is over 50 years old! Sounds great! The tuning dial works fine. The knobs are original and securely attached. The clock little volume on off knob turns on with a definite click. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The clock works and keep accurate time. No clock motor humming, buzzing, or ticking noises. The alarm works. The sleep timer works. The alarm buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Snooze button works slightly yellowed. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. No fatigue by the interconnect. No exposed wiring. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
