DESCRIPTION: Rare tabletop Tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Motorola in 1959 in excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or missing material.  No heat cracks no melted heat patches no yellowing on top. The front part of the cabinet is original factory molded lime green color. The cabinet backing that was originally a molded ivory color. Not repainted no touch up no over spray. None needed. This radio is over 60 years old!  No missing labels on bottom. Motorola logo is not missing. The knobs are in excellent condition only slightly yellowed securely attached. No missing clock knobs. Amazing. The clear dial face looks excellent. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The Motorola label is not faded. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. No crack, warping, major scratched on the clear clock cover. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time no humming no buzzing no ticking or grinding noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Sleep timer works. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are replacement with safety polarized plug in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. No missing factory labels on the bottom. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
