SMITTEN BY BURLAP Forest Green Sparton Model 360 AM Tube Radio Totally Restored!

DESCRIPTION: This is the radio you get when your chief product designer goes on vacation and the intern is put in charge of the concept design. Forest green and what? LIGHT GREEN BURLAP! I don't know whether to stare at it or poke my eyes out with my soldering iron! This must have been a inebriated attempt at grasping some micro-trend that never was back in the mid-fifties. Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio alarm clock manufactured by the venerable Sparton company in early to mid fifties in excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Cabinet is original condition top and sides original molded green plastic with light green mint or pistachio colored plastic burlap weave material. No cracks, chips, or abrasions on top front or sides. The bottom has various repaired cracks. No repaints. The only design of its kind. Black clock face and fantastic clear graphics. But, wait - there's more. Yellow knobs and lettering. Holy Jesus. This radio is over 50 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. Original power cable is securely attached no breaks, splits, or exposed wiring. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations.
