DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Admiral in 1955 time frame. This radio is in excellent working and physical condition.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded Bakelite repainted top and sides in original factory color coral pink color. Bottom is original factory coral pink paint. The color match is near perfect. The front wite color painted grill is original factory paint. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. 

LOGOS: Admiral factory gold painted raised letters some rub off.

KNOBS: Knobs are original, matching and securely attached. The tuning dial works no slipping

DIAL LIGHT: No dial lights not designed with one.

POWER CABLE: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

CLOCK: No clock

BACKING BOARD: Factory original backing board is intact securely attached printing faded.

FACTORY LABELS: Bottom factory labels are intact and readable.

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets. Was probably used in or near the kitchen for much of its life.
