DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by RCA Victor in 1957 in excellent physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded in pink. No repaints no touch-ups no over sprays. No chips or major scratches or missing pieces. There are small hairline short crack by the back edge. The front clock clear cover is transparent with no chips or hazing. The are a few small inclusion cracks by the bottom. The black front clock face is in excellent condition no discoloration, water stains, or paint flaking.

KNOBS: Factory original volume and tuning knobs are securely attached. The volume knob is missing gold metal center insert. Tuning knob is not missing center gold metal insert. The tuning dial works fine. The original metal gold clock function knob is securely attached. No broken posts.

LOGO: No missing logos

DIAL LIGHT: No clock or tuning dial light. Not designed with one, but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor makes a audible whirring sound which is common among Westclox clock movements. Alarm and clock set function works and goes off at the correct set times. No buzzer. Wake to radio only. Alarm does not work reliably. No sleep timer.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intake securely attached legible printing.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: bottom factory label is missing.

PROVENANCE: Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or carpet.
