DESCRIPTION: Rare and beautiful pink Philco clock radio. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in 1959 in excellent working and physical condition. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded glossy pink color. No exterior repairs or repaints. No overspray, No repaint. No touch ups. None needed. This radio is over 50 years old! All the dial numbering is crisp and clear. The clock face is original in excellent condition no oxidation or discoloring. Small hairline crack on top. No chips or major scratches. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. 

HEAT SHIELD: Internal heat shield has been installed underneath to minimize heat damage in the future.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Philco radios takes longer to warm up and turn off. Approximately 15-20 seconds.

KNOBS: No missing knobs. Knobs are original and securely fastened. The tuning dial works fine.

CLOCK: The clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with high quality modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.

POWER CORD: The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact and securely mounted. No missing bottom factory labels.
