DESCRIPTION: This antique radio was manufactured and marketed by Travler as Model T-203 in 1959 time frame. These vintage radio models were usually molded in black or white. The grills are factory painted blue, pink or yellow. A wonderful vintage tabletop vacuum tube AM radio in excellent working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: The cabinet is original shiny black plastic. Front yellow grill is original factory paint. Usually these front factory painted grills suffer from fading or flaking but not this one! Absolutely stunning color combo! Original factory molded color through and through. No major scratches.  There is a small hairline crack by the bottom left screw hole that has been repaired. THere is a tiny edge chip on the front left side edge. Travler front logo on gold metal plate is in excellentr condition not faded not wavy or peeled.

KNOBS: The iconic tri-star tuning knob is original and securely attached in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine. Volume On/Off knob is original and excellent condition. No broken or repaired mount posts.

DIAL LIGHT:  No dial light. Not designed with one.

POWER CORD: The power cable is securely attached no breaks no cracks no exposed wiring.

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The antique radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.

BACKING BOARD: The factory original backing board is in good condition with crisp square edges and clear read-able printing.  Missing top right corner and area by center vent holes.

FACTORY LABELS: Missing bottom factory labels.
