DESCRIPTION: Designed by one of the most renown and enduring architects of the 20th century: Le Corbusier! One-of-a-kind asymmetrical design is prismatic dimensions and looks surreal from every angle! Picks up AM and shortwave stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in good condition but with hairline crack on top, that has been repaired and reinforced from underneath within, small chips along the edges. No abrasions. Some scratches on top. No missing pieces. Original factory molded vanilla ivory color. The original knobs are white plastic. The front grill is in very good condition no holes no dents or dings. Minor paint loss. The dial face is in excellent condition. The dial clear bezel are original no cracks not yellowed with age, no dents or dings! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and no flaking. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light looks great and lights up brightly. The tuning dial works fine. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The power cord and European plug is original with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. Power adapter is necessary to power on USA mains 120V 50-60hz which is included. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. No missing factory labels. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
