DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured Admiral in 1959 time frame excellent physical and working condition. Has rare working top of line always on clock light using neon bulb that never needs replacing! Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition. No cracks or major scratches. There is a chip on the front top edge. Original factory molded pink plastic. This radio is over 60 years old! All original knobs are still present and securely attached. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing no cracks or chips. No stress fractures, yellowing, or major scratches. No rub off rub-off in clock number lettering which is common. Original gold Admiral paint on raised logo is in excellent condition not rubbed off. Factory chrome paint on raised trim is not rubbed off which is common. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Clock and tuning dials are very modern looking even by today's standards. Very unusual and prescient design. The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is quiet on this one. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The clock and alarm set function work. Sleep timer works. Top snooze button works. Chrome painted snooze button surround is not missing and chrome plate trim is in excellent condition not paint fading or rub off. The original power cable is in excellent working condition. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Bottom factory labels are not missing. Original factory backing board is in excellent condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
