DESCRIPTION: Portable battery operated solid state AM radio manufactured by RCA Victor in 1950's. Uses C type batteries. Fresh set is included. This radio is working great. Cabinet is original molded turquoise and white color. No cracks! Amazing. The front turquoise plastic grill is in excellent condition. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is almost 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. Nicely proportioned design.The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. When this radio was new, tailfins were all the rage!
