DESCRIPTION: Vintage tabletop tube AM radio alarm clock manufactured by Emerson in the 1960s excellent+ physical and working condition. Original factory molded petal pink color. No repaints. No touch-ups. No over spray. None needed. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or major scratches. No yellowing or fading. The front grill in excellent condition. The front Emerson logo is in good condition, some rub off. The original knobs are solid and securely attached with original gold metal caps in excellent A+ condition. Hooray! Usually, one or all of these gold metal center caps goes missing over the years. The little clock knobs are original and securely attached. Very mid century looking The clock face is crystal clear not yellowing. The glossy black clock face is in very good condition. Please review photographs carefully before purchasing. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. No clock light, not designed with one.The clock works quietly and keeps accurate time. The alarm works. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The new power cord and plug are excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
